Draft Day is officially here! The Raiders currently hold the number six overall pick in the first round, but there’s rumors of them potentially wanting to trade down a few spots or so. This mock draft won’t include trades, but I’ll explain most of the picks and the reason for it, and I’ll also give some insight on some potential trades and so on as well. So let’s dive right in, because we have A LOT to discuss before the draft begins tonight!
Round One, Pick 6: Michigan DT Mason Graham
Now, up until honestly today, I was thinking that the Raiders would draft RB Ashton Jeanty. But with reports coming out that the Jaguars or Patriots could take him, combined with the fact that the Raiders just really need an established DT alongside Christian Wilkins, I think Mason Graham could be the pick at 6. Let’s not forget that this draft is super deep at running back as well, so even if Jeanty is there, if Graham slips to them I could definitely see them picking him. I also could see them trading down for an offensive tackle like Kelvin Banks Jr or Armand Membou, but we’ll see how it all plays out tonight.
Round 2, Pick 37:Alabama QB Jalen Milroe
The Raiders might have to trade back into the first round for Milroe, but for this mock drafts sake I’m going to say he slips into the second round. However, if that doesn’t happen, I would actually expect the Raiders to go running back with this pick IF they don’t trade up into the late first round for a QB or IF Milroe doesn’t fall to pick 37.
Round 3, Pick 68: Texas OT Cameron William
I can definitely see this happening if they do not grab an OT in the first round.
Round 4, Pick 108: Tennessee RB Dylan Sampson
Sampson is a speedy running back who is very explosive and can also be a solid receiver out of the backfield. The Raiders need someone like that in a big way in 2025 and beyond.
Round 5, Pick 143: Ohio State CB Denzel Burke
Round 6, Pick 180: Nevada S Kitan Crawford
Round 6, Pick 213: Oregon LB Jeffrey Bass
Round 6, Pick 215: Maryland WR Kaden Prathe
Round 7, Pick 222: Oklahoma State OT Dalton Coope
